Atlanta Piedmont Park Beltline Engagement Session - Soraly & Colin

Soraly & Colin just celebrated 7 years together. They recently got engaged and wanted to commemorate this sweet time in their lives. Upon meeting them at Piedmont Park, Soraly told me they NEVER get pictures taken like this and were worried they would be awkward. It couldn't have been more opposite, in fact, I think I WAS the awkward one! These two were such naturals and almost every single picture of them was perfect. They seriously made my job easy that day.

I had a hard time choosing my favorites, so I wanted to share some here! Could they be any more gorgeous?

McDonough Family Photos - Sweet Nora's First Birthday

I was so excited when Ashley reached out to me to photograph her gorgeous family. She found me on Instagram of all places! Her family had just moved to McDonough, GA from San Antonio and didn't know many people or photographers yet. Hashtags work, folks!

Little Nora turned 1 in June and they wanted some photographs to remember this adorable age. I am so glad they chose me. They were seriously the cutest. It was obvious that girl is a full-on daddy's girl and I could see why! Nora wasn't really warming up to me, but her daddy stopped at nothing to get his baby to smile, complete with a scarily realistic Elmo impression.

Summertime, and the livin's easy

Atlanta has had a fair share of rain and cloudy gloom the past couple of weeks. As cliche as it sounds, I'm ready for some sunshine. I want some heat, a pool to lounge by/swim in, and some good music.

I do love seeing these kids have so much fun in their kiddie pool, though! Growing up in Georgia summers, all you needed was a bathing suit and a water hose to have the time of your life.

Side note: how many blog posts about summer do you think there are with this title? Ha!

A Family Full of Joy - Jonesboro Family Session

As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you

Sarah is the most gorgeous example of motherhood, and I'm not sure any camera could do that justice. This family was so fun to work with, and that adorable little Everett kept us laughing the entire session. Capturing the love and light of a family is the best part of this job.

Another McDonough, GA Senior Portrait Session

I love when clients bring their friends along for photoshoots. It instantly sets them at ease, and results in the most natural laughs and smiles. In this particular case, Racheal's friend was also a great stylist and creative director for us. I think we all had fun during this shoot.

My second shooter, Caitlin, actually snapped my favorite shots from this one. Having an awesome team also helps :) And of course, I had to throw in a hazy, light flared pic. I can't help myself! The lens just makes its own magic sometimes.

McDonough, GA Senior Portrait Session

I'm seriously envious of seniors these days. It's like teenagers now just skip the awkward phases and situations of life, school-appointed senior photo sessions included. It's really not fair. Anyway, check out these photos of this gorgeous soon-to-be high school graduate from Creekside Christian Academy.

Peachtree City Family Photography Session

One of my favorite things to come from starting this business has been the opportunity to catch up with old friends. This family was one of the first to reach out to me and I could not be happier that they did. Not only was this park in Peachtree City fun to explore, this family was just light and happy the entire time, which always makes for an easy shoot.
