Hi, I'm Courtney. I tell long-winded stories. It's so nice to meet you.

This little family business has been a long time coming. My life has been infused with photography in small doses since I was born. My father, who went to school for photography, passed his love of it to me and my sisters. I remember finding his old film cameras in the basement, including one of those crazy vintage folding ones. I remember my first small digital cameras, thinking every single image I took looked amazing. I remember when he brought home the first DSLR (a Nikon D60), and I was HOOKED.

I knew I was passionate about photography from the start. I just didn't ever think I was capable of turning it into a business, especially seeing so many other beautiful, talented photographers in my area. I finally took the plunge because I realized that there is room for everyone, and we each have our own unique talents to offer.

Why the name Coco & Co.? My grandmother has always called me Coco. When my first nephew was born, I knew Courtney would be a mouthful for him, so we decided that I would be Aunt Coco. Now, one of my favorite things in the whole world is the sound of my four nieces and nephews yell "COCO" when I come through the door.

When you book a session with Coco & Co., you can expect yours truly to be the main photographer. It's also likely that I will bring along a talented second shooter - my insanely artistic sister Caitlin, and maybe even my older sister Brittany, when she's not too busy with her own small business.

Family is the cornerstone of this business. We know how important your loved ones are, and we want to be the ones to capture your special family moments.

I've got lots of plans in the works for this business, including a handy "what to expect" guide for when you book a session with us. In the meantime, please take a look at our work here on the website, and on our Instagram and Facebook below. We are adding new photographs everyday as we get more settled in here.
